About the artist...

I"ve been a set and cosutme designer, a scientific illustrator, a graphic designer and a web designer, but this is the most fun yet! I get to work with things that inspire me every day, our children's creative artwork, visions of nature in the Pacific Northwest, and fabulous fabrics and threads.

Many of the fabrics I use are hand dyed silks, cottons, linens, hemps and more. The embroidery is completely designed in our studio, on our computers, and uploaded directly to a Bernina for stitching. I hand select and shift each color and fabric to make each design as thoughtful and handsome as it can be.

I have the help of an alarmingly talented husband and two completely amazing artistic daughters without whom this entire adventure would be unthinkable. We're a team, through and through. I also couldn't do this without our friends, special thanks to Sophie for letting me borrow her terrific drawings for some of the earliest tests and samples.

In our rushed and crazy world, we hope to create custom crafted artwork that will celebrate what matters most... our families and friends, the special moments in our lives, nature, beauty, peace. We all need a little reminder to keep our priorities from running amuck sometimes. .. let it be a piece of fiber art from us.
