Simple
or complex:
Kid's drawings have heart!

|

Where to start?
First find the kid's art you love-- on the fridge? Under the bed? On the
bulletin board at your kid's school? Even toddler splotches and handprints
make great abstracts. Size doesn't matter.
Then just email or call us
gail@lamoreauxstudios.com

and we'll brainstorm with you about what to make and how.

Will my kid's art look great?
Absolutely.
Simple drawings
like these little kitties are wonderful. Complex work with many colors,
like this self portrait, here made into a photo album cover, are stunning
too. What a keepsake!
Have
us make an art quilt for your wall, custom linens for grandma, and something
personal for friends-- all from the same original drawing.
And they can each be different colors, styles, and materials.
Names and
other words can easily be included, and are especially magical embroidered
in the child's own handwriting.

Construction paper art made in preschool or kindergarten makes great embroidery
designs.

Even tissue
paper collages, like the happy bee below, translate dramatically into
stitches.

This 24"
x24" quilt above includes 4 dancing butterflies, repeated and arranged,
with changes in color. Just 4 little sketches became this quilt, the one
on the home page, and custom linens too.
Showing our
kids how much we value their work, by displaying it and praising their
process, their creativity, their insights, helps us stay connected and
cherish them during these growing years that are soooo fleeting.
Oh, and it is both beautiful and fun too! Wait 'til you see their eyes
light up, when they see their own drawings, and their names the way they
write them, in smooth soft stitches.
Doesn't
the sheepish smile on this little bear just make you smile back? Hope
so!
Thank you
for checking out our website! We would be happy to work with you and your
artwork.
